How Does Invisalign Work?
The journey begins with a consultation with your Clinton Township Invisalign Specialist. During this initial visit, they will assess your oral health, take digital impressions, photographs, and X-rays of your teeth, to discuss your treatment plan.
Based on the treatment plan, a series of custom-made aligners is manufactured to address your specific needs. You’ll receive a set of aligners, typically every one to two weeks, depending on your treatment plan. You wear each aligner for about 20-22 hours a day, removing them only for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. Over time, as you progress through the series of aligners, your teeth will gradually shift into your desired position. The aligners work by targeting different teeth at various stages of the treatment, ensuring precise and controlled movement.
It is essential to maintain the results with a retainer, which you can wear overnight as needed.
